I recommend one of the two following methods for studying the openings and games on this page ...
If you find games here that interest you, then I recommend committing them to memory.
It is not that difficult to learn the games if you limit your study to one or two new games a week and follow my Memorization List approach.
Or take a block of lines on this page and try to learn them up to move 5. This will be real easy at first because many of the lines are the same on the first five moves. Then wait at least two weeks to give yourself a chance to practice the lines in real games, before trying to learn the same lines up to move 6. Go a move deeper every 2 to 4 weeks. The deeper you get, the more difficult it will become because the lines will diverge from each other more. At some point you will feel like you have gone as about deep as you need to, since most of the lines don't have much practical value past move 10. However, if you see a few games that you like, I recommend trying to commit the whole games to memory as in #1 above.
It is easier to learn these lines and games if you try to focus on remembering just the moves for the side that you are trying to study. Don't learn both the black and white moves if you are only trying to learn one side.
